Dr. Mark Ashton Smith. Dr. Ashton Smith obtained a Ph.D in cognitive psychology and neuroscience from the joint Carnegie Mellon University and Pittsburgh University Center for the Neural Basis of Cognition (CNBC) program. Between 2000 and 2003 he was a Lecturer in experimental psychology at the University of Cambridge, England. His current research is in fluid intelligence and how to it contributes to chess expertise & other types of expertise. He blogs on intelligence for Psychology Today.

Dr. Matthew Checkley. Dr. Checkley has an MBA and a PhD in Strategy from Warwick Business School, and is a Lecturer in Canterbury Christ Church University. His research focuses on the dynamics of social networks, strategic risk and the foundations of theory in strategic management. Recently he developed web-based software tools for strategy visualization. He has published book chapters and numerous journal articles.
