This rotates in the opposite direction, and the ‘?’ configuration will be dash-dot-cross. This rules out answer B, and we are left with A or D. Take the last row. This sequence rotates in the same way as the first row, and the ‘?’ configuration will be cross-dash-dot. The answer is therfore ‘A’. (Exactly the same configuration as we started with).
